Nobi Terms of Service

Last Updated: December 3, 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to Nobi ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Nobi website, services, learning tools, coding workspaces, and related features (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use Nobi.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using Nobi, you represent that you meet this requirement and are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Account Registration

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.

4. Use of the Service

You may use Nobi solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You agree not to misuse the Service or attempt to interfere with its operation. Prohibited behaviors include, but are not limited to:

  • Uploading harmful code or attempting to access unauthorized areas
  • Scraping, copying, or redistributing Nobi content
  • Using automated tools (bots, crawlers) without permission
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or disrupt the platform
  • Engaging in harassment, spamming, or abusive behavior

We may monitor activity on the platform to ensure compliance with these Terms.

5. User Content

You may choose to submit content to the Service, such as profile information, comments, code submissions, or other materials. You retain ownership of your content; however, by submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and use that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any laws, intellectual property rights, or the rights of others.

6. Intellectual Property

All Nobi content—including questions, explanations, workspaces, interface designs, branding, and educational materials—is owned by Nobi or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of Nobi content without our express written permission.

Any use of LeetCode or third-party copyrighted content within Nobi is strictly prohibited. Users may not upload or distribute copyrighted material they do not own rights to.

7. Subscription Plans and Payments

If you choose to access premium features, you may be required to purchase a subscription through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to the plan you select.

All billing, subscription changes, updates to payment information, and cancellations must be managed through the Stripe customer portal. You agree to provide accurate billing information and to promptly update any changes.

Unless stated otherwise, Nobi subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. Cancellation will apply to the next billing cycle; we do not provide partial refunds for unused subscription periods.

8. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility may vary depending on your plan. Unless otherwise stated, subscription fees are non-refundable once processed. We may offer refunds at our discretion in cases of billing errors or service-related issues.

9. Availability and Modifications

We aim to keep the Service available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from downtime or changes to the platform.

10. Third-Party Services

Nobi integrates with several third-party providers, including Supabase (authentication and storage), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of these services may be subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the actions or failures of third-party providers.

11. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Nobi, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately.

We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all implied warranties, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nobi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the past 12 months.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in New York, NY.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
